In my house, we often exchange Easter treats and gifts... but they don't come from a bunny. We celebrate the new spiritual life we have received because of Jesus' resurrection from death. So my project is inspired by the new life we see around us in SPRING!
I love the bright flowers especially. It was a quick project with my Simply Scored Tool!
I used the colorful and fun Just Add Cake Designer Series Paper as well as smooth card stock in Peach Parfait, Wild Wasabi, Blushing Bride, Poppy Parade, and Whisper White. A few embellishments added to the happy little box.
Stampin' Supplies:
- 2 strips of Designer Series Paper, cut one 4 x 12" and the other 4 x 11-3/8"
- coordinating card stock
- Floral Fusion Sizzlits Die, Little Leaves Sizzlits Die, Big Shot
- Boho Blossoms Punch, 2-1/2 Inch Circle Punch, Decorative Label Punch
- VersaMark Pad (sponge around edges of all card stock)
- White Craft Stampin' Pad (for sentiment), Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set
- Basic Rhinestones Jewel Acents
- Sticky Strip, Tombo Multi-purpose Adhesive
- Simply Scored Tool
Click on the image below to see a bigger version.
1. Score your 4x12 piece of DSP at 4" and 8". Rotate and score again at 3/8" and 3-5/8". Fold along score lines. Score your other piece of DSP at 4" and 7-3/8". Fold along score lines.
2. Overlap in center / bottom of box.
3,4,5. Apply sticky strip to "tabs" and adhere.
6. Decorate front of gift box.
